About Us

Memories forgotten started off as a four piece band in January 2009, with the members consisting of, Scott baxter, sam hawkins, mitch burns and alyce tweed. During 2009 Memories forgotten, toured london and parts of essex to try and find a certain someone who would put them in a record label. That happened but never happened at the same time. They found a Mitch winehouse who liked the originality of the band and the female vocals, of alyce. But it fell through due too the task they had been given. Afterwards Memories forgotten tried out the O2 academy in Islington, where music differences' saw the goodbye of alyce, leaving memories forgotten a three piece band. Afterwards the three remaining members worked hard to write new songs for scott who had taken role of lead vocals, and sam as back-up. Things were looking promising for 2010, but after a lack of communication, Mitch left the band leaving scott and sam the only members left. Shortly after memories forgotten brought in bass player Alex cubra, who was recently in the band 'Your Mum' and guitarist Matte Balkham. With the new members joining Memories forgotten worked hard to, write new songs and material, but to also gel together as a band, which they proved in May 2010 at the Bitter end. Up to now the band is still writing new material and looking for gigs around London/Essex.
